" this doesn't look like a bike, Zoe"

GYM.TIME.

My sister as you can tell is a walking stick. So I couldn't wait to get her in a gym and wear her out.  So I decided what better than to take her spinning. Since my first time spinning, well lets just say I was walking like a cowgirl for a week after. I was so excited to watch her sweat!! We got to the gym and after she drooled at all the older men we walked into the spinning class.

My first spinning class was at another gym and well it was intense. This little blonde girl ( the instructor) hops on her bike and starts talking through a mike all soft and relaxing. I am like whaaaa? hold up. I wanted dark and loud and exhilarating!!! What the french toast is this???! NOT at all what I thought it was going to be. Did we sweat? Yes. Did we wanna give up? Yes. Did we have fun? NOOOO!!!!

Lesson learned. Every instructor and gym is different. I had fun with my sister though! She was like okay at 30 minutes I am DONE! haha the class only lasted 45 so we were good. I couldn't believe I made it through some of the hills. I need to bring my sister more so I can show off and sweat my butt off. OH well la la la I guess we will do Zumba tomorrow and take it slower. Dont want my little stick to break ;P

AHA Moment

I was standing in the line at Walmart-fallappart and the lady in front of me had a cart full of fruit and a crap ton of produce. So me, Mrs. Nosey, I asked her what could she possibly need all that for. And she said... juicing... so I was like O.o? WOAH I need to try this, she proceeded to tell me how healthy she was and how much weight she lost. So it got me thinking... and started to make me want to just go run 30 miles until I looked like this -------->>>>> again. But lesssbeeonest that cant just " happen". I looked through all my old pictures and I wanted to cry! I mean I thought I was fat back then. Given I have had to take alot of steroids and meds for my MS... not an excuse just facts!

I have gained a good 75 lbs in a year... and I lost a little when my baby was born. But now I am still over weight and still up in the 170s. And I want to get to back to this ------->>>> 145.
Well, I know better. there is no way I can juice and completely change my eating habits. I have to do it slowly. And with my MS, its best if I exercise. So I signed up at a gym! They have a pool, daycare, tons of fun classes, AND a smoothie bar! So, here begins my journey of getting back to a comfortable weight. I have never been uncomfortable with how I look. But I just want to feel better about myself. I am 20 for crying out loud! I want a hot body! I am done with the Kangaroo pouch.
I will be posting periodical before and after pictures, so stay tuned! 145 145 145! I can do this! right?.... Lalala yeah I can!

Family Pictures!!?

Ever since Jolene was in my belly I just couldn't wait to do family pictures! You know sit everyone looking glamorous and happy... Little did I know how unrealistic those expectations are! But my photographer/best friend was going to make it happen. We left the city ( she lives out in the boonies) and headed to go take our picture.

I picked white for us to wear, white T-shirts and blue jeans. I bought Mr. Millions shirt too big so he was going to rock grey. White, grey, and jeans. For pictures, with a 6 months old... OUTSIDE. It was brilliant. My friend and I always talk too much and then end up not doing the pictures. So since we were determined we just headed outside to do the pictures. We headed into the woods of her house... the woods, I hate the woods. But! Fabulous pictures are worth it, right?

Between the fact that I hate the woods and I cant be serious for a picture to save my life... The pictures were turning out to be more something you keep and laugh at and NOT show people. Because Mr. Million and I weren't in sync and Jolene..... she was not participating! I decided to put Jolene down for a few pictures.. well Kate has a creek, and a dog... Right in the middle of Jolenes'  pictures her dog( Griffon) jumps in the creek and then shakes it off next to his buddy Jolene... Poor Jolene her mother made her wear white.

Here is the picture that describes that day and us as a family. Me, Mrs. Bossy, who just has to be always talking and cant just smile for a damn picture. Mr. Million, always so relaxed and careless. And Little Miss Jolene.... Just wondering why she is outside in the woods and not inside playing with her new toys.

Lalalala I cant wait till fall so we can try this again!

Here is my best friend/ photographer. Kate and I after the hectic photo shoot!

Post Partum MS

My whole pregnancy I had zero symptoms with my MS. My body was normal, I felt GREAT! But I always wondered what was going to happen after Jolene was born. How I was going to feel? How long I had before my MS was going to start kicking my butt again??

6 months, thats how long it took. I was breastfeeding, and it kept it off for a while, but then out of no where the numbness and tingles came back. This time it wasn't my left side like before, it was my right side. HMM weird huh.

I called my doctor and just like a figured.... here comes my least favorite words to hear... "YOU NEED STEROIDS!!!" Why oh why do doctors do this! Steroids make you cranky and fat and anxious........ I was not happy AT ALL.
But because now I am a mom and its not about what I feel like doing, I decided heck! Steroids woo hoo!! I will have energy I will be SUPER MOM! So I grabbed my little sidekick and we went to get my treatment. 3 straight days of steroids... the nasty metal taste is something I never forget. Its like you are chewing on metal!

I had to stop breastfeeding, I obviously don't want a baby hulk... just kidding.... its just not good for babies..... If you are pregnant, or are a new mom with MS... do what YOU want. Not what the doctors want. If it was up to my doctor I would have been doing steroids the second my baby was out. BUT I said NO. And I breastfed and like I said I felt fine the first 6 months. I don't regret anything! My baby is healthy, and now I am trying to be healthy as well. So that I can be there to pester her for a very long time!
Lalala... do what works for you, whats medically "right" might not work for you and your family! Thats what I did and I am happy with the results! ( BTW no more numbness here!)

The Green.. No Yellow.... No its Green? Yellow?... Headboard

Image
MY NEW HEADBOARD!

Am I the only one that goes through pinterest, magazines, HGTV, and just sits and dreams " Oh I wish I could have that" or " One day when I am rich I will do that"... Well! My mother in law, she can make poop look beautiful. Seriously, she goes and gets items that haven't been shown a lot of love and she makes them look like a MILLION bucks ( haha get it .. Million?) Okay.. Back to what I was saying. Every time I go to her house I see things and I get so excited, because I know that some one is going to buy it and place it in their home. Then its going to look like something off a magazine, when I know its origin! The trash or someones old this and that...... Ive always thought my mother in law is so smart, she can make such a profit off these project.. All it takes is TIME and EFFORT. The woman doesn't sit! Always working on something.. Showing something love so that someone else can buy it and give it a whole new life!
Well here lately from watching her for about a year. I've decided if I want to make my house look how I want it to. I am going to have to come up with a very CHEAP way to do it. The only place where I have a Million, is in my last name... not  in the bank where it should be... Therefore this mom must make things look cute. Without spending a fortune.
The headboard...
I had been looking for EVER for a headboard with shelves, I've just always like the idea and how convenient it is to have somewhere to put your things. When you have a smaller room, having two nightstands just takes up too much space. I looked at IKEA, Walmart, Target. And they were all so freaking expensive! Well this one day on craigslist ( mind you I keep craigslist open and refresh it carious times a day. I also have the app for it) I saw the white headboard for 35$ IT WAS PERFECT. My mother in law picked it up and the girl ended up taking 30 for it!$$$$$$ ***DING DING DIG JACKPOT*****$$$$$
I kept it white for a while until we moved to a new place and I had a slightly bigger room. So I then became obsessed with the color citron! Its a green/yellow color and I love it. Its bright and cheerful. I ended up painting my room walls ( actually painters did it, but you get the point) a VERY dark grey.... So I needed bright! I consulted my friend Kate because I knew she would stop me if painting my headboard Citron was a crazy idea.... well she approved and TAH-DAH! My headboard was created. I had a hobby lobby gift card and they were having a sale. So I picked up random things I thought would match. The MR. & MRS letters were only 1$ ea so I had to have those... It turned out better than I thought. And the headboard, paint, and decor cost me all 60$ and 20 $ of that was in a gift card!
The joy I got once I put my headboard in, it was done! And Trevor and I did it! Our little family project. It started raining yesterday when we did the first coat of paint. But we were able to finish it today! I never really got why my mother in law does it. Why she spends what seems like SO much time working on these " things"... But now I see why. Its an art, and when people love your things that YOU made, fixed, came up with, and worked hard on.. Its a reward on its own! I will be doing more little projects around the house now, next is my window, going over the headboard. That I only spend 2.37$ that's including fabric! Cant wait to share that with everyone!!!

Officially a Certified Nurse Assistant

Ever since I was little I knew one thing, I was going to be a nurse. This is one step closer!! I am very happy to celebrate I got certified. My teacher was such a hard ass I figured I was going to fail. I passed every test, but I had to pass the state boards too. My teacher gave me such a hard time and literally told me I ask too much and I need to just sit and be quiet.
Well! I passed the class, which was a huge shock. AND I was the ONLY one to pass the boards out of the class! Oh you best believe I will be writing that teacher a very sarcastic thank you email.
This was important to me, a step closer to my future dream of being a nurse and helping people. Just doing the clinicals in a nursing home was so nice. I didn't want to leave. It was hard leaving my baby and having to pump my boobs in the car, BUT it was worth it. I did this on my own and finished it   (well I paid 500 bucks so I better finish it).
As you can see we celebrated with some Ritas!
Lalala I did it

Its been a year?! WHAT?!

Mr. Million and I got married on leap day! February 29th of 2012! So which day to celebrate was confusing, but we went with March 1st. We decided to go to  The Melting Pot. I knew it was a fondue place, I thought oh how fun we will dip in some chocolate and thats it!

Well, if you have ever been there you know EVERYTHING you eat you dip. They make you an appetizer, we chose spinach and artichoke dip. Then you pick a cooking "style" which I had no idea what the hell this meant. But I chose one. Then you pick a chocolate for desert. Well they bring out a ton of stuff for you to dip! It was fun. Now when our dinner come out... it was RAW! Mr. Million and I were so confused. The waitress could tell. So she explained. The cooking style we chose is a broth and we will cook our own meat in that broth... Hence the different color sticks for us to know whose meat was whose.... how freaking fun! I eat way too much... OH I almost forgot, they have a blackberry sage lemonade... so worth 8$!!!! Deeeelish.

One year, we had our daughter, moved, and learned a lot about each other. Its been a crazy year, but I have enjoyed every bit and cant wait to see what the next year brings... Then in 3 years its leap day again!! And we can celebrate on the 29th!

Lalala come on 2014~
